Police officials said the firm lured innocent people by promising them 8 per cent monthly returns on investments — claiming that money invested in the firm would double in 25 months. They deceived investors by saying the firm was engaged in organic products business, including supplying vermicompost and developing organic farming projects. However, they failed to fulfill their promises.

The accused had been investing the cheated money into buying land, which they resold at higher prices, earning threefold profits. A total of 44 bank accounts (21 company plus 23 personal) have been frozen, holding Rs 1.15 crore.
