From delivery man to laundry hero: Meet Gurpreet Singh, whose kind gesture saves the day!

In a heartwarming display of kindness, an Australian woman named Verrity Wandel shared a video on Instagram that has captured the Internet’s attention.

The clip features her postman, of Indian origin, going above and beyond his duty by saving her laundry from a sudden downpour.

Instead of just delivering her parcel and leaving, he decided to fold her clothes and move them indoors. He also left a thoughtful note explaining his actions.

Wandel later took to Instagram and posted a selfie with the postman and captioned the pic saying, “Meet Gurpreet Singh the amazing Postman that brought in the washing as it started to rain.”

In her first post with the video she wrote, “We head in to check the surveillance system and this is what we find.

1 in a million this guy is so cool. Can't wait till my next delivery and I get to thank him 🙏.”

This incredible gesture has not only warmed hearts, but also caught the eye of actress Priyanka Chopra, sparking a wave of praise for the postman as a true ‘real-life hero’.
