Gangster’s aides arrested with arms, stolen jeep

Four alleged aides of gangster Akshay, who was considered right-hand man of gangster and Abohar native Lawrence Bishnoi, were nabbed in Hanumangarh. The police claimed to have seized two pistols, two weapons, besides a Bolero jeep they had snatched from a man in Behal segment of Haryana at gunpoint.

Nakas were laid following a tip-off from the Haryana Police. The accused were intercepted near Chak 12GGM village. They tried to flee, but the police team managed to arrest them. Head constable Duni Ram Godara sustained minor injuries in the scuffle.

The accused were identified as Sandeep Sheoran, alias Sonu (25), Somveer Mittu (23), Vikas Chautala (21) and Sandeep Babbal (25). — OC
