An NCC cycle rally from Hussainiwala to New Delhi was flagged off by Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria today. Organised under the aegis of the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh NCC Directorate, the rally will end at the Prime Minister’s rally on the culmination of the month-long NCC Republic Day Camp in Delhi.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
