Chandigarh, May 14
The state government has recorded sales revenue to the tune of Rs 40 crore through e-auction of industrial and commercial plots developed by the PSIEC even during the ongoing lockdown.
This was disclosed by Industries and Commerce Minister Sunder Sham Arora here today.
The PSIEC, the nodal agency for the development of industrial estates, had launched the e-auction of industrial plots and commercial sites located in its Industrial focal points in Abohar, Amritsar, Batala, Bathinda, Chanalon (Kurali), Goindwal Sahib, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Malout, Mandi Gobindgarh, Mohali, Muktsar, Naya Nangal, Nawanshahr, Nabha (New), Pathankot, Tanda, and Raikot.
Vini Mahajan, Additional. Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, said overwhelming response was received in the auction, especially with regard to commercial properties of the PSIEC located in Mohali, Ludhiana and Amritsar. She said the PSIEC was planning to launch another auction of prime industrial, commercial and residential properties located in industrial focal points across the state.
