In the first case, the police have seized 2.5 kg and Rs 40,500 drug money from Joga Singh (granthi), his wife Sharanjit Kaur and his brother Punjab Singh, all residents of Gagarmal village located just one kilometre from the border.

Preliminary probe revealed that Joga and Punjab had direct links with Pakistan-based drug traffickers and they used to get the contraband dropped via drones in the fields located on the backside of a gurdwara.
