A team of the Organised Crime Control Unit along with the city police on Monday raided Durga gunhouse located opposite to the subdivisional administrative complex here and scrutinised the records and verified arms after booking its owner for supplying weapons to gangsters and anti-social elements.

The police said a case was registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the IPC and 25 of the Arms Act. A case had also been registered against some persons for preparing fake arms licences in 2011.
