Habit-forming tablets seized

Sangrur, March 13

The Moonak police have seized habit-forming tablets and bottles of smuggled liquor, and started further investigation.

“During patrolling, our team saw a car overturned near the Ghaggar bridge and during search, seized 200 habit-forming tables and 300 bottles of smuggled liquor. We have registered a case against unidentified persons,” said Assistant Sub-inspector Balbir Singh. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
