Terming the Congress government as “weak”, AAP’s Punjab affairs co-incharge Raghav Chadha today accused it of failing to protect the people of the state as he demanded an impartial inquiry into “lapses” in PM’s security. Chadha said: “Our ideology is different from that of the BJP, but there is a lapse in PM’s security. While the PM wanted an excuse to cancel the rally, the state government gave them exactly that.” — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
