IAF Western Command chief visits Halwara airbase

Air Marshal B Suresh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Air Command, visited Halwara Air Force Station today.
He was received by Air Commodore A Bhadra, Air Officer Commanding, 9 Wing.
The AOC-in-Chief inspected vital installations at the base and assessed the operational preparedness. He also reviewed measures taken to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. Reiterating that the country was going through a tough time, he emphasised the importance of ensuring operational capability through diligent planning and utilisation of resources.
Appreciating the involvement and commitment displayed by the staff at the airbase, Air Marshal Suresh advised them to stay fit and be vigilant in the face of the global pandemic.
