Punjab Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar today issued directives for managing animal carcass disposal sites (hadda-rodi) in villages across the state.

To address growing concerns about public health, sanitation and proper land utilisation in rural areas, the minister directed the officials of all the regional offices of the Panchayat Department to conduct a thorough survey within one month and identify and mark designated sites in villages under their jurisdiction.
