IG reviews security arrangements
Ahead of the Republic Day, Inspector General of Police (Intelligence) Babu Lal Meena on Tuesday reviewed security arrangements in the district.
He directed the police officials to stay vigilant and ensure law and order in
the district.
Meena held a meeting with officials and directed them to intensify checking and night domination. He also took round of the Police Lines, bus stand and the Sadar police station.
He asked security personnel to keep a close eye on anti-social elements.
Meena said 1,200 police personnel had been deployed across the district, besides 11 inter-district nakas had been set up to keep tabs on miscreants.
