Bhalla breathed his last in the early hours on Friday at Fortis hospital in Mohali.

His influence on the industry was profound—through decades of laughter, social satire, and cultural commentary, he earned a cherished place in the hearts of millions.

Final rites are scheduled for Saturday at 12 noon at the Balongi Cremation Ground in Mohali, where family, friends, and admirers would gather to pay tributes.
