Ghazipur, February 16
As fatigue takes a toll on farmers who have been protesting here for the past 83 days, the Kisan Andolan Committee has decided to up its game to enthuse the crowd once a week. It plans to hold ‘kavi sammelan’ and ‘mushaira’ to boost the morale of protesters.
“We have to hold such events to retain the interest of the youth. We are in the process of organising a ‘kavi sammelan’. We will make an announcement once the dates are decided,” Jagtar Singh Bajwa, member, Kisan Andolan Committee, Ghazipur, said.
