Senior BJP leader and former Union minister Anurag Thakur, along with BJP state president Sunil Jakhar, today took out a roadshow from Shahenshah Palace on Ferozepur Road to campaign for the BJP candidate Jiwan Gupta for the upcoming Assembly by-election on June 19 that concluded at Ghumar Mandi Chowk.

During the roadshow, Anurag Thakur said the AAP first looted the people of Delhi, and when the people of Delhi rejected them, they turned towards Punjab. In the Ludhiana West bypoll, Kejriwal made his own AAP MP a scapegoat to become a member of the Rajya Sabha. This showed how much Kejriwal was hungry for power.

Thakur said the people of Ludhiana West will not let Kejriwal's plans succeed and will send him back to Delhi without any hope. Sunil Jakhar said seeing the huge crowd at the roadshow, it seemed the people of Ludhiana had accepted Jiwan Gupta even before the voting.

Ravneet Singh Bittu said today that the youth of the country were with the BJP, influenced by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
