Former Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal reached Hoshiarpur on Tuesday evening for a 10-day Vipassana course that would start at Dhamma Dhaja Vipassana Centre at Anandgarh village on Wednesday.
Accompanied by his wife, Kejriwal arrived here by road from Chandigarh and went direct to the forest rest house at Chohal along the Chintpurni road. Hoshiarpur MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa welcomed him. Tight security arrangements have been made around the Chohal rest house and the Vipassana centre.
It is for the second time that Kejriwal has come to this centre for the course. Earlier, he arrived here on December 20, 2023, a day ahead of his appearance before the ED in the Delhi excise policy case.
