Key accused in Patiala murder case nabbed

The police apprehended the main accused, Ragbit Mithu of Dittupur village, in the murder of Navneet Singh, who was shot dead at a crematorium near Ghalori Gate here yesterday.

The victim succumbed to injuries on the spot when two assailants fired from close range at his head.

The investigation revealed that Navneet was a foster son of Mithu’s brother Hardeep Bawa. After Hardeep’s death, Mithu discovered that Navneet also had a share in his brother’s will, which led to a property dispute between the two.
