Bajwa alleged that despite Supreme Court’s instructions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did nothing for the farmers and health of farm leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal was deteriorating rapidly.

He alleged that the gangster culture had returned to Punjab due to laxity of the state government. He said law and order situation had worsened in the state.

Frequent bomb blasts in several parts of the state, especially near border areas had pushed cops on the back foot, said the LoP.

He said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann never visited any grain market during paddy procurement, which resulted in fleecing of farmers. He claimed that drug trade had increased manifold and drugs were being sold with impunity.

Bajwa condemned the Modi government for registration of case against the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, by levelling false allegations against him.

Bajwa welcomed former SAD president Sukhbir Badal’s close aide and former two-times Jalalabad Market Committee chairman Davinder Singh Babbal into the party fold.

Former MLAs Hans Raj Josan, Dr Mohinder Kumar Rinwa and Raminder Awla were also present. However, Congress MP Sher Singh Ghubaya was conspicuous by his absence.
