An audio recording of a heated telephonic conversation between DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar of the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and fugitive gangster Goldy Brar surfaced on social media on Monday. This is first ever purported one-on-one conversation between a gangster and a police officer to have come out in public domain.
In the recording, Goldy, allegedly hiding in Canada, called up the DSP on his phone to claim that he had killed gangsters Ajay Rana and Manpreet Mana because they were the officer’s informers. “We will kill all informers you plant in our gang,” threatened the gangster, who had been laying low since his name came up along with that of Lawrence Bishnoi in targeted killings in Canada.
DSP Brar was heard telling the gangster not to pin their rivalry on the police and be ready to face action. "We do our duty. For us, you or any other gangster or any dog or donkey or horse are the same (sic). You all will get the same treatment if you don't mend your ways," the officer cautioned Goldy.
He also reminded the gangster how his gang member Ankit shot at minor girls to save himself during a police raid. DSP Brar is a highly decorated police officer, while Goldy is a key conspirator in the Sidhu Moosewala killing case. A senior police official said the conversation took place on December 21 and the gangster leaked an edited version of it. He said the police would soon eliminate all notorious gangsters.
