Alka Lamba, president of the All-India Mahila Congress, today addressed the state executive meeting of the body to strengthen the involvement of the wing ahead of the Lok Sabha poll.

Joined by organisation state president Gursharan Kaur Randhawa, Lamba held a session with women workers. The meet also helped discuss the implementation of ‘Nari Nyay’, an initiative by the Mahila Congress.

Lamba said, “Under the BJP rule, the role of women continues to reduce and our rights are being taken away.”

PCC chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring said, “I salute the efforts of all our workers who are a part of the Mahila Congress. Your efforts help our message reach society.”
