During a gathering to lay the foundation stones for the Eidgah Public School and Imam Ghazali Library and Study Circle in the region, Rehman emphasised the importance of using these government facilities to benefit the community. He invited office bearers and activists from various social, educational, and constitutional bodies to act as bridges between the administration and the public, ensuring that the benefits reach the grassroots level.

Rehman, while addressing the crowd, praised the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for its commitment to promoting education, literature, and technology in the region. He highlighted the initiatives launched by the Punjab Wakf Board to provide quality education and resources for youth.

“Unlike previous administrations, which used fake slogans for political gain, we have already launched significant projects to enable our youth to compete at the national and state levels through quality education,” Rehman said. He also mentioned that grants worth Rs 3.5 crore had already been allocated—Rs 3 crore for the school and Rs 50 lakh for the library.

Administrator of the Punjab Wakf Board, Shaukat Ahmed Parrey, and CEO Latif Ahmed assured that educational and medical institutes run by the board would provide students with the latest knowledge through modern teaching methods, helping them achieve success in state and national administrative services.
