The father of a girl student of class VII of Sacred Heart Convent School, Bhikhiwind, has been booked for negligence following complaint by the Principal of the reputed school to the police that his minor daughter had allegedly shown his licensed loaded revolver to her classmates on April 26, thereby creating panic among them. Some of her class fellows later placed the matter on social media.

Meanwhile, Sarabjit Singh, resident of Kalsian Kalan and father of the girl, met Ancita, Principal, Sacred Heart Convent School, Bhikhiwind. The Principal called the girl to her office who had reportedly hidden the revolver in her uniform. The weapon was then handed over to the father of the girl.

According to sources, the girl had “an ongoing conflict” with her school mates, for which she had shown the revolver to them, making them lodge their protest against her with the school authorities.
