A candidate from Haryana was caught using a Bluetooth device for cheating in the multipurpose health worker (MPHW) recruitment test at Baba Farid Public School in Faridkot.
Vikram, a resident of Gajuwala village in Fatehabad district, was found communicating with an aide outside the school using a Bluetooth earpiece and transmitter while attempting the exam.
The test for the recruitment of 270 MPHW (male) in Health and Family Welfare Department, Punjab, was conducted by the BFUHS on Sunday.
Inspector Guranditta Singh said based on Vikram’s interrogation, another accomplice waiting outside the school was arrested. Their village associate Kuldeep Singh has also been booked. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
