The Muktsar (City) police have arrested a man for allegedly raping his minor daughter for almost a month. The accused is a daily-wager and his wife works in a private factory in night shifts.

In her statement to the police, the victim alleged, “When my mother and aunt go to work in the evening, my father returns home, and drinks alcohol. He has been raping me for about a month after my mother and aunt went out for work. He threatened to kill me if I told about it to anyone. He used to sexually assault me every day.”

A case has been registered.
