Man held for ‘sexually’ exploiting girl
The Khuian Sarwar police have arrested a person under Sections 64 (2), 78 (1) and 351 (3) of the BNS.
The victim said Sonu Kamboj of dhani Sanjha Ram in Patti Billa village offered her a lift as she was waiting for a bus. She said she accepted the offer and boarded the car. On the way, Sonu allegedly took a photo with her and raped her in the car. He also threatened to make the photo viral. The police today presented Sonu in a court, which remanded him in four-day custody.
The vicitm’s statement under Section 164 of the CrPC shall be recorded in the court soon, the police said.
