Man kills wife, nephew in Morinda
Morinda, June 3
A resident of ward no. 1 on the sugar mill road hacked his wife and her nephew to death on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Kajal and Sahil while the accused Alam, after committing the crime, consumed some poisonous substance. He was admitted to a local government hospital.
Kajal’s mother Babli said the accused was staying with them after marriage. She said Alam used to quarrel a lot with her daughter over petty issues. Around 1.30 am, Alam first killed Kajal using a weapon and then attacked Jassi, Sahil and Bobby, sons of her eldest daughter Sweety, who was not at home. — TNS
