A flour-mill owner was “strangled” to death allegedly by his three sons due to a property dispute. The deceased has been identified as Chhinder Singh, a resident of Johari Mandir Road.

The police have booked Ajit Singh, Surjit Singh and Lakhwinder Singh under Section 302 of the IPC.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
