Mann gives job letters to 1,311 youth, 50,000 hired so far

The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has provided around 50,000 government jobs to youth in their 32 months of having assumed the reins of the state. The Chief Minister today handed over government jobs letters to 1,311 employees for the PSPCL, thereby taking the tally of recruiting government employees to 49,427 ever since assuming charge of office in March 2022.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister congratulated the youth who got these government jobs. He said that the entire recruitment process had been carried out in a fair and transparent manner. Mann said that he had assumed charge of office in March 2022 and after few months he got the coal supply from Pachwara coal mines resumed.

Mann said that among those who secured these government jobs, some were those who had returned from abroad.

Earlier, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO welcomed the CM and other dignitaries on the occasion.

Meanwhile, those who got the recruitment letter today praised the AAP government for ensuring jobs to them in a fair and transparent manner. Sharing her views, Gagandeep Kaur from Dasuya said that within two years she had got second appointment letter from the CM.
