Man ‘kills’ wife, flees

Abohar: A man attacked his wife with an axe in the presence of his three children reportedly for a few rupees at Khairpur village on Wednesday night. She succumbed to the injuries later. During the attack, the cousin brother of the deceased, who came to the rescue, was also hit. The accused then fled from the spot. OC
