Medical College gets new principal

Chandigarh, September 19
Dr Rajan Singla, Professor of Anatomy Department, has been appointed Principal of Government Medical College and Hospital, Patiala.
Dr Raminder Pal Singh Sibia, Professor of Medicine Department, has been selected as the vice-principal, while Dr Harnam Singh Lekhi will be the Medical Superintendent of the GMC.
Medical Education and Research Minister OP Soni said the changes were made to invigorate the working of the institute and further energise the staff. He said during his last visit to the GMC, he felt the need to change the administrational structure to make its working more efficient.
