Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Monday wrote to Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar urging for the construction of five new bridges on rivers and canals falling under the jurisdiction of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB).

Bains said people of Anandpur Sahib constituency, especially Nangal, Kiratpur Sahib and Anandpur Sahib were facing challenges due to lack of road connectivity.
