Ministerial Services Union demands revival of all allowances
The leaders affirmed that the struggle will continue strongly until all demands are met
The newly elected district committee of the Punjab State Ministerial Services Union has demanded revival of all allowances, including Border Area Allowance, Rural Area Allowance and FTA Allowance.
The election was held under the leadership of state president Gurnam Singh Virk and Khushkaranpreet Singh, state president of the Excise Department Employees Union at Fazilka.
District president Sunil Kumar Kamboj and general secretary Sukhdev Chand Kamboj today said that with a pledge to work with renewed energy and remain fully committed to achieving the pending demands, the Union demanded immediate issuance of notification for restoration of the Old Pension Scheme for employees recruited after January 1, 2004, promotions for ministerial employees in all departments, release of pending Dearness Allowance (DA), removal of the Central 7th Pay Commission for employees recruited after July 17, 2020, and implementation of Punjab’s 6th Pay Commission along with full salary (including arrears) during the probation period.
They said that the meeting also demanded immediate restoration of the 4, 9, 14-year ACP scheme.
The leaders affirmed that the struggle will continue strongly until all demands are met.
