Moga rape victim’s kin booked for violating norms

The Moga police have booked at least 38 persons, including the mother and father of a 14-year old Dalit gangrape victim, on the charges of violating prohibitory orders issued with regard to Covid-19.

The family members of the victim, village residents, including the panchayat members, activists of local trade and student unions and leaders of a few political parties had staged a protest outside the Nihalsinghwala police station on Monday, demanding arrest of the accused youths.
