Mohali reports three deaths, 49 new cases

Death toll now stands at 331

Mohali reported three deaths and 49 new cases in the last 24 hours, district officials said on Tuesday.

Officials said 90 people were released from hospitals after recovery.

Mohali Urban reported the majority of the new cases—44 of 49. Dhakoli (2), Boothgarh (1), Dera Bassi (1), and Kharar (1) made up the remaining numbers.

The development takes Mohali’s total infection numbers to 17,621, of which 1,673 are active. Its fatality count stands at 331.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
