Bathinda, June 15

The Lok Morcha Punjab recently organised a convention over water crisis in Bathinda today.

Jagmel Singh, secretary, Lok Morcha Punjab, said canal water has become unfit for human consumption due to sewage and industrial pollution. The duo said to prevent groundwater level from falling and becoming polluted, residents need to work together. They said the government should focus on recharging groundwater through rainwater harvesting.
