Five years after the Punjab and Haryana High Court had ordered a probe by the CBI into the disappearance of Faridkot youth Manoj Kumar, who was working as an ATM money loader, the CBI has sought to close the case, saying no clue could be found about the missing youth and the suspects.

Manoj had been missing since May 2014 from Faridkot. A special investigation team of the Punjab Police failed to trace him. Almost Rs 19 lakh had been fraudulently withdrawn from ATMs by those who allegedly abducted Manoj, it is claimed. — TNS
