Under the guidance of Sheeba, Anil Bishnoi and Seema Kamboj, in-charge of National Service Scheme (NSS), the students took part in exercise and yoga on the fourth day of the camp. Volunteers cleaned Baba Ramdev Temple, gurdwara and village dispensaries, and collected waste materials. The villagers appreciated the initiative taken by the volunteers.

A teacher, Surinder Karagwal, said education did not just mean getting school and college degrees; the real meaning of education is to broaden one’s thoughts and outlook. Understanding this responsibility, we should educate our daughters under the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign for the development of society and nation, he said. They must ensure the safety of girls and their rights and put an end to the feticides, Karagwal said.

He said, “We should protect our daughters, and educate them so that we can bring about change in society. This change will guide our future as we will be able to become self-reliant, put our ideas in front the world and in the end, we will also be able to inspire them to work towards equality and justice in society. Education has a miraculous power, which empowers our lives and works to bring about a change in society,” he said.

The students also showcased their talent through activities such as poetry recitation, singing and sports.
