Man booked for posting Kejriwal’s morphed video on social media

The Sadiq police here registered a criminal case against a person for allegedly uploading a morphed video on the social media in which AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal is seen making derogatory remarks against the Constitution.

The complainant, Jaspal Singh, a member of Dalit community from Maani Singh Wala village here, claimed that the video was intentionally fabricated to provoke communal discord. He alleged that the accused, Vibhor Anand, uploaded the video to create hatred and animosity between different communities. He alleged that the video not only aimed at lowering the esteem of Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution, but also undermined Kejriwal’s image. He further stated that the video could incite riots, harm the social fabric, and insult members of the SC and BC communities.
