The initiative, held a month after their earlier drive on the World Environment Day, saw participation from Justice Vinod S. Bhardwaj, Justice Harkesh Manuja, Justice N. S Shekhawat, Justice Aman Chaudhary and Justice Rohit Kapoor.

Volunteers began work in the early hours, clearing litter like plastic bottles and polythene bags from the High Court’s parking and surrounding areas. The organisers said the clean-up aimed to tackle not just visible waste but also public apathy towards environmental issues.

The plantation drive that followed was intended to strengthen the commitment to a greener environment. Participants later gathered for a community breakfast to exchange ideas on sustainability and the need for collective action against environmental degradation.

Organisers said the initiative underlined the belief that consistent, united efforts are essential to improve the condition of the environment and ensure a healthier future.
