Hoshiar Singh Ranu, convener of the ceremony, shared that the event saw the participation of more than fifty individuals, including Tribune reporters from Malerkotla and Sangrur districts, who were led by Gurdeep Singh Lalli. The pledges came in response to a call made by Dr. Pavitar Syan, Chief Organiser of the Vigyanic Welfare Society Amargarh.

Dr. Syan urged attendees to honor Jedka’s legacy by pledging to donate their eyes after death. “As we felicitate Jedka posthumously for donating blood during his lifetime and eyes after death, we request you all to follow him and pledge your eyes,” he said.
