Panic as School Education Department's jab deadline nears

The School Education Department has directed teaching and non-teaching staff to get at least the first dose of vaccine and produce a certificate by August 13, but the Health Department has not been able to arrange required doses.

Only 250 doses were provided to a team that organised a camp here, but scores of people, most of them related to the education department, thronged the complex, flouting the Covid protocols.

Nar Sewa Narayan Sewa Samiti members slammed the government for issuing dictates without arranging required logistics. — OC
