Paropkar Ghuman is SAD candidate for Ludhiana bypoll

Ludhiana, April 17
Paropkar Singh Ghuman has been declared the SAD candidate for the upcoming Ludhiana (West) Assembly bypoll. On Wednesday, party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was in Ludhiana, had hinted that in a day or two, the name for the seat would be declared.
Ghuman has remained president of the District Bar Association here. He has been associated with the party for the past over 15 years. His father was also associated with SAD.
The Election Commission will declare the date for the Ludhiana West bypoll anytime soon. The AAP has already declared the name of its Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora as the contestant, while Bharat Bhushan Ashu is the Congress candidate. The BJP is yet to declare its candidate.
