Performed duty diligently: Malerkotla SSP on DSP Dilpreet Singh’s death
Malerkotla, February 23
Offering condolences to DSP Dilpreet Singh, who died of heart attack in Ludhiana on Thursday, the Malerkotla district police have shown solidarity with the family of the deceased. Dilpreet died while exercising in his gym.
SSP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh said for the past four days, Dilpreet had been performing his night duty at the Khanauri border. “We have lost a brave companion, DSP Dilpreet Singh, who performed his excellent duty for four days at Khanauri, where he was deployed during the kisan morcha. On behalf of DGP Gaurav Yadav, we assure our utmost commitment towards his family that comprises a widow and two-and-a-half-year old daughter,” said the SSP. His mortal remains would be cremated as per the Punjab Police protocol.
