A young man from Fatehpur Manian village in the Lambi Assembly segment allegedly threw petrol bombs at the residence of village sarpanch Kulwinder Singh and made a video go viral on Instagram. In the video, the young man is heard saying that if the sarpanch does not return the money by tomorrow, he will open fire. He further states that the petrol bombs were only meant as a warning and did not cause any damage.

The sarpanch said that he had lodged a complaint with the Lambi police regarding the incident. “I have no enmity with the young man who threw petrol bombs at my house. His father and I used to borrow money from each other, and that’s about it,” claimed the sarpanch.

The video was later deleted. Lambi DSP Jaspal Singh said that he was currently occupied and would be able to comment on the matter later.
