Residents of Fatuhi village, located close to the international border in Sriganganagar, caught a pigeon whose wing bore a stamp in Urdu. The villagers took the pigeon to the nearby Hindumalkot police station, which handed it over to the Forest Department.
Police station in-charge Majid Khan said a name and a cellphone number (code 0307) was stamped on the bird’s wing. Intelligence officials, who arrived shortly, scanned the pigeon.
Two days ago, a 2-feet-long balloon with Pakistan International Airlines written on it was found in Chak 6-Q village, Mateeli Rathan.
