Mohali, June 13
The condition of former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal remains stable at a private hospital here. Doctors are monitoring his vital parameters and keeping a close watch on his health.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today visited the hospital and enquired about his health. “I pray to God for his long life and speedy recovery,” Khattar said in a tweet. He also posted a short video of his visit, wherein he is seen talking to Badal, seated in a chair in a private room of the hospital.
In a tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Badal a speedy recovery yesterday. “Praying for the good health and speedy recovery of Shri Parkash Singh Badal Ji,” wrote the PM.
The 94-year-old and five-time Chief Minister was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night with complaint of gastritis and bronchial asthma. On June 6, Badal was admitted to the PGIMER after he complained of gastric-related problems. Badal was discharged the next day.
