A miscreant was arrested by the City-1 police yesterday. The police said a dozen bikes have been recovered from him after interrogation.

The suspect, Sumesh alias Sonu Chhabra he had found temporary hideouts in Malout and Bathinda and had been selling stolen two-wheelers for throwaway prices in nearby villages where buyers would seldom insist on having valid related documents.

The city police have appealed to people not to buy vehicles from unknown persons without complete documents, or they would be liable to legal action.
