Poll nuggets: Dinanagar former MLA Sita Ram Kashy passes away

Gurdaspur: Former BJP MLA from Dinanagar Sita Ram Kashy passed away in his sleep in the wee hours of Friday. He was 84. He is survived by two daughters and a son. His body was consigned to the flames in the afternoon. People from all walks of life attended the cremation. Kashyap was elected an MLA in 2007. tns

Focus on farm distress in manifesto: Partap Singh Bajwa

Chandigarh: The Congress is talking to all stakeholders before the manifesto is released in the coming days. Separate meetings had also been held by the manifesto committee with CM Charanjit Singh Channi and PCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu, said committee chairman Partap Singh Bajwa.
