Sangrur priests seek action over ‘defamation’

Sangrur, June 28

A group of temple priests today met the Sangrur SSP and demanded action against individuals allegedly involved in defaming one of their members on the social media for charging fee for performing religious ceremonies. They alleged some persons had uploaded the photograph of Pushpinder Kumar, a priest, on the social media with defamatory text. — TNS
