Protest outside Punjab minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian’s house enters Day 8

The protest by kin of farmers who lost their lives at the Delhi farmers’ stir, entered the eighth day today outside the residence of Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian here.

Kin await compensation

As many as 40 families are yet to get the compensation of Rs 5 lakh each announced by the Punjab Government while 400 families are awaiting the jobs promised by the Punjab Government. Farmer leader

A farmer leader claimed that nearly 326 farmer families were yet to receive the compensation of Rs 3 lakh each announced by the Telangana Government, 40 families were yet to get the compensation of Rs 5 lakh each announced by the Punjab Government and 400 families were awaiting the government jobs promised by the Punjab Government.
